Ex Air Vent Plug Breather and Drainage Valves IP66

Automatic drainage and breather valves are suitable to be used on increased safety, intrinsically safety or watertight enclosures to facilitate the elimination of condensation or vapors developed inside. Thanks to a precise mechanism, it is possible to obtain a continuous drainage and breathing of the junction box, protecting it from the possible formations of internal condensation and thus avoiding the periodic manual discharge, while ensuring a suitable IP degree of protection.

Through it excellent permeability, Screw-in Vents balance the air pressure difference between inside of housing and environmental condition and low the pressure on seal gaskets, therefore it prolongs seal gaskets service life and improve the reliability of the device.The micro-pore membrane structure build-in Screw-in Vent provides an effective barrier from dust and dirt and still allows the product to breathe with changing environmental conditions. This prevents pressure from building up and damaging enclosure seals,exposing sensitive components to water and debris.Equipment used in the telecommunications industry is subjected to rapid temperature fluctuations, a variety of particulates, and exposure to wind, precipitation and solar radiation. Screw-in Vents effectively protect them against the negative effects of pressure differentials caused by temperature changes and provide an effective barrier against dust, water, salts and other corrosive liquids.

How valve Works:
IP66 Waterproof Anti-condensation valve to facilitate air circulation by convection inside the modules, preventing the formation of condensation. Pressure differences in enclosures with a high degree of protection from moisture and dust, are the result of fluctuations in internal and external temperature. If negative pressure or vacuum dust and moisture can be absorbed by the sealed doors and can enter the hazardous area enclosure. Because moisture can not escape, condensation can occur. Allows to regulate the pressure to prevent condensation following an increase in the internal temperature.
