The project consists of supplying double-compression armoured cable glands to be incorporated into the sulphur management system for the rehabilitation of the Port of Jorf Lasfar in Morocco.
Jorf Lasfar is a commercial port located on the Atlantic coast of Morocco. Since 2004, it has been considered the second most important port in Morocco after Casablanca. It is a rapidly expanding industrial district that includes important artificial fertilisers and petrochemical factories. This port is well equipped for the export of phosphate rock and various chemical products such as pure sulphur, ammonia, and sulphuric acid.
SOLUTION BY GLAKOR® ENGINEERING TEAM
After assessing the environment and chemicals such as sulphur, we undertook a comprehensive study and supplied Glakor® double compression armoured cable glands in AISI 316 stainless steel, certified for Atex zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
In addition, we supplied Atex Luxorex Series wall boxes in AISI 316 from Atex Delvalle. These wall mounted Atex control boxes stand out for their robustness, watertightness and corrosion resistance.
